Photo of the Month - February 2003
I haven't had a photo from Greece since March 1997! This one I liked immediately as it is one of those "sums-up Scouting" pictures, or if it doesn't sum-up the whole of Scouting it puts into a picture one of best aspects of Scouting which is getting out with your friends and having a great day. The photo was taken by a tourist and then sent in by Paulos Manetakis who is the second on the right. Paulos tells me why everyone is looking so happy.
We are from Crete ... [Chania] and then we were at the East of Crete in the city of Agios Nikolaos. We are in a big castle called Spinalonga. This was part of a bigger trip of three days from 25th to the 28th of October 2002.
