Photo of the Month - June 1998

Andrew Hawke is a Scout Leader from New Zealand but at the moment he is in Iowa City with Troop 211 (Hawkeye Area Council) as an Assistant Scoutmaster.

Andrew took this photo of Dan, Nate and Kevin of Troop 211 during a plant identification and trash collection hike whilst they were camping at Wildcat Den, near Muscatine and the Mississippi, Iowa, 3rd to 5th April 1998.

On Saturday morning we hiked along a road collecting trash and identifying animal signs. We visited an old Mill, with a dam & small waterfall, and a 150 year old bridge was crossed, before hiking back to our camp on a trail.
