Photo of the Month - May 2000
Mrs S P Eames, Assistant Beaver Scout Leader at 1st Gillingham (St. Lukes) Kent, Beaver Colony described what this photo meant to her when she submitted it to this competition. I completeley agree with her so I made the picture May's Photo of the Month.
Mrs Eames says: Here is Sophie and David of the 1st Gillingham (St. Lukes) Kent, Beaver Colony, taken on 8 April 2000, by Mrs. Karen Shannon, Beaver Helper, after the Beavers completed the District Cross Country Run.
Fun and Friends
To me this picture is a perfect demonstration of the Beaver Motto "Fun and Friends". The Beaver Colony won the cross country and also had several leading places.
