It's back! - welcome to the ScoutNet UK Website Awards, your invaluable guide to Scouting on the Internet!
We're now open for nominations for next month's awards! Why not submit your site for consideration? Before you do, though, you'll need to read and agree to the rules. Due to the overwhelming response, we've decided to split the awards up into UK and International awards. Please don't enter for the wrong category, as they will be judged independently and so we are likely to lose your entry if you do. If you have an existing ScoutNet UK Website Award, please also see the rules for details of when to resubmit your site.
UK awards, the original Recommended, Highly Recommended and Website of the Month, will be awarded to UK-based sites only. That is, sites which belong to a UK Scout Group, or are aimed primarily at UK Scouting. That is, please don't submit your BSA Troop homepage for a UK award. If your site has no real relevance to UK Scouting at all, please do not submit it for any of our awards - get in touch with your country's ScoutNet and encourage them to set up their own competition.
International awards are for sites which are not overwhelmingly UK-orientated. They are issued for sites which are of such a standard that they would receive a Highly Recommended or Website of the Month award if they were UK-orientated sites.

To be recommended by ScoutNet UK your Web Site must have a Scouting or Scouting related content. If the pages of your web site would not look out of place pinned up on a Scout HQ noticeboard the you could be eligible to wear this badge on your web site. See the latest sites here. Recommended sites from previous months are here.
These sites are must see sites for Scouts browsing the World Wide Web. They contain something of special interest to Scouts or they do such a good job of telling the world about what is going on in Scouting that they deserve a wider audience. Go and visit the sites that are Highly Recommended by ScoutNet UK, here.
ScoutNet UK recognises that there are excellent Scouting websites all around the world. As a UK-based website, ScoutNet UK's website awards are also predominantly UK-based. However, if you feel your site has particular relevance to UK Scouting as well as that in your own country, you could be awarded one of these. Sites must be in English to qualify.
It's easy to submit your website for an award - simply fill in and submit the form below. We'll get back to you by e-mail if your website is successful. Please make sure you indicate if this is a resubmission or a first-time submission for a ScoutNet UK award. Also ensure you give all the requested details, otherwise we may not be able to judge your site.
